4. Hobbies
I believe that almost everyone has a hobby. There are many different hobbies, so you can choose any according to your taste and character. When you spend your free time at your favourite occupation, life becomes much more interesting.
What do we call a hobby? It can be such activities as doing any kind of sport – from chess to football, travelling to different countries, gardening, drawing, singing, dancing, cooking, reading, listening to music, watching TV, shopping, studying and many others.
Collecting is one of the most popular hobbies nowadays. People of all ages collect different things: stamps, coins, badges, stones, flowers, shells, books and many others. Some collections are very valuable. Rich people collect paintings, rare vases and other art objects.
As for me, I am greatly interested in photography. I like to take photos of different people even if I don’t know them. It is interesting to take photos of people when they don’t know they are being photographed. Such photos may be especially good because they show real human emotions and feelings.
Very often our hobby helps us in choosing our future profession. When we are interested in something, we always try to know everything connected with it. So, having a hobby is not only pleasant but useful.
